Libs are squealing like the world will come to an end if the debate is postponed. This grassroots poster is trying to discern McCain's master plan:

>Lesson for Libs

McCain lobbied hard to get the first debate on the topic of Foreign Policy. Why? Because both his record and all the polls have this as his strong point. Because the first debate is the most important because its hard to change people's opinions after they have been set. Also, with polls showing an Obama lead, McCain needs the debate more than Obama does at this point. Add all that together...McCain is taking a huge risk politically to suspend campaign and ask for delay in the debates. There is alot of downside, but very little upside...except for the country...hmmmm.<
