MI, I've always thought kirk probably had a lot of knowledge about technology companies, and I also believed his methodology made sense. However, I am still forced to take what he says "with a grain of salt" because he has steadfastly refused to post his year-by-year results on a public message board. To me, that speaks volumes. BTW, you were correct about what was on the other side of his link. -:)

Congradulations Midwest Investor . My 65% stock market asset allocation this year and 35% fixed income and cash is down approximately 7% to 8% too depending on the wide swings of the daily stock market indices . And last year's 2007 return wasn't as good as yours as both my portfolios , my Invested & Total counting real estate and living expenses , had over a 6% real return . Still expect to finish positive this year as we await Sy Harding's favorable season later this fall .
