I'd love to see him step up to the plate, but it doesn't look like he will.

Bush had the same tone and look when he was selling the war.
It's disgusting to watch. Nobody says let the mkt work it out. All I'm hearing is how they MUST bail them out or else Main St is dead. All from people whose jobs are somehow connected to the credit market. But in reality, how many times does Joe Blown apply for or absolutely need credit in the time it might take for this to work itself out? Our biz relies on on suppliers terms. We don't live or die on credit.

Credit is available and will be available for those who are creditworthy

It's the same playbook. And the dumbass Dems are falling for it AGAIN! I gotta say, if McCain said flat out he opposed this, I would vote for him.<NG>
