"Auctions? My you ARE the optimist, aren't you?" heh heh, I sort of think/hope that we will get out of the mess here...In that regard, I am an optimist.. I don't think the folks running Treasury and Fed are fool. On the contrary, some of them made big bucks in WS before getting to Treasury and Fed... We can and should question their motive, but I seriously doubt that they don't know what they are doing... WS is one of the most competitive arena in US economy given the compensation structure.. No fool can survive, let alone prosper in that envirohment.
