Yep, plenty of blame to go around... FNM wouldn't be here if it weren't for some medling democratic "do gooders" trying to help folks out. OTOH, it wouldn't have grown like a freakin weed if the Republicans REALLY didn't want it to and then wouldn't have turned into a freakin giant toxic Redwood with out Gramm's steroid treatment... Rep's could have stopped it's explosion (last 10 years) no problem IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO. Interesting that Gramm snuck away early after his wife's legislation blew up Enron (she was on their board and audit committee I think) via commodities derivatives and now it's his babies turn. UFB. Where is Wendy now??? In jail? Nope... probably on a beach somewhere with a bag full of loot hoping Phil doesn't ruin her escape. DAK
