Well if we use fractional reserves as the multiplier, it looks like the government is going to create some serious credit with the 700 BILLION dollars they are going to use. (That in addition to the alloted money for Bear Stearns, FNM, FRE, AIG and whoever else needs it).

I think that as long as the dollar holds up in value, the government can expand credit with impunity . . . . I am still in the camp that a dollar will be worth less 5 years from now then it is today . . . I just wish I knew how to profit from it.

PS - Maybe as a taxpayer, I am too big to fail. Think I could get in on some of the money !!!

Vote for more government control and power. Under the 'guise of helping the little guy.
