Think about it, it did not cost $5,500,000...this was another one of Kenneth's OIL and TYCOON posts. Kenneth just did not think it out and instead hurriedly posted something without thinking it through...

Repub Sen Richard Shelby says no agreement yet at WH. Sen Bunting(R-Banking Cmte) on Capitol Hill says "Paulson and Bernanke have been poor salesmen of their plan--now they come with armageddon. They have a flawed plan. We must unclog the arteries of the credit markets--fannie and freddie were given enough funds to do that, now they're back looking for more. Fight is over who's going to take responsibility and who's trying to take credit. What happens in Jan, after the election, when the mortgage business is till clogging the credit system and we have to go back in? Coming deadline of this debate is whether you can get enough Ds and Rs to support the plan pushed forward to get temporary relief for the markets."
Bunting was a broker for 25yrs, 16 yrs on the Banking Cmte and says he's not panicked. He says it's taking the last democracy free of socialism and turning us into France 20yrs ago.
