Interesting. They say he has not received income, but did not say that he gave up his equity in the firm. So, any firm income not distributed as profits are still going to be his, once he returns to the firm, since he retains his equity share.

And, it is even more disturbing that he claims not to have been a registered lobbyist. Then, why did he receive the money? His firm got $15K/month for doing nothing? Sounds exactly like influence peddling - he did not provide services, but provided access to McCain.

This statement makes the situation even more disturbing.
