If I was a German citizen that article would hardly inspire confidence in Peer Steinbrueck. Its mostly a load of nonsense. Not just the comment in the title, also the idea of "a ban on speculative short-selling", or the idea that the German banking system has some vastly superior model. You might have a point if we weren't hearing similar comments from other foreign principals. However we are. Furthermore, I find your need to pooh pooh the bailout and minimize the economic problems we are having right now to be a bit disturbing. I never knew you to be quite this partisan.
