They say the best time to plant grass is just before the last snow.

Grass, when I sold grass seed a guy bought some then later complained it didn't sprout. He had filled in the bare spots with soil from his farm. Duh, full of herbicide to kill grass.

My parents bought a new house with a bare lot in 1962. Planted grass seed but couldn't find someone to mow it all summer. Went to seed. Nicest grass in the USA the next spring.

Fantastic... I remember once when we had that sort of thing on TV that the figures were the storm coordinates over time.
