FDIC will be in need of a few x10 billions soon. From Fed or from elevated premiums from their other banks.

>JP Morgan Chase(JPM Quote - Cramer on JPM - Stock Picks)
>will reportedly buy the deposits of troubled bank Washington
>Mutual(WM Quote - Cramer on WM - Stock Picks), as well as
>some WaMu branches, in a deal brokered by the federal
>government.

Ok, than the shareholders and bond holdes are screwed. Wouldnt have thought is legal possible for the FDIC, because it will extract money because just befor BK for the sole benefit of FDIC.
