Wayne, You need 100 raise points to release $5. How many raise points you get depends much more on the stakes you play at than how long you play. For example, if you are playing $2-4, you will receive 1 raise point for every hand where you contribute money, even if it's only the small blind. If you are playing $.10-.25, you receive one raise point for every 4 hands where you contribute money. And, where the pot is at least $1. Hands where somebody steals the blinds do not count, no matter what the stakes, as UB did not earn a rake.

The system is tough on limit hold em, where you rarely contribute to the pot, if you are a tight, aggressive player. It is magic for stud games (7 Stud, 7 Hi Lo and Razz) where you ante and contribute to every hand.
