now is this the real deal - CHINESE SPACE LAUNCH: China's Shenzhou 7 spacecraft carrying a 3-man crew lifted off today from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and is now in Earth orbit. During the upcoming three-day mission, Chinese astronauts, called taikonauts, will launch a small satellite and conduct their country's first spacewalk. Shenzhou 7 and the body of the rocket that launched it will be visible to the naked eye as they orbit Earth. Check the Satellite Tracker for viewing times.

This is a battle for the survival of the state. The nation's survival is another story. The US exported debt and imported capital. As more destination for capital appeared, the US worked harder to keep the economy standing and avoiding lowering standards of living. That only made the US a less attractive destination for capital. It is interesting to note that it is not the foreigners that are denying capital. It is the capital junkie that is forced into rehab to curb drug habit. Unable to suck capital the US solution is transform itself into an export juggernaut at the same time that imports plummet. That must be coupled with other measures to attract investments. Case in point create a program for Immigrants to get Green Card if buying a house of no less than USD500K paying 50% up front and the rest in say 5 years. That would attract a lot of Russians, Arabs, African capital flight.
