I meant that was my final post of the day. I had to stop reading stuff for a while. Sorry to be overly dramatic <g>

We appear to be in the middle of a maelstrom of events more dramatic and possibly more damaging than 1929. Hard to tell still, as we spin around in one twister after another. Will we land our our feet miraculously, or will we land on our heads?

I hear more and more anecdotes the past few weeks that give me pause, including the one yesterday (here I think) about a credit card paydown offer. There really are serious credit issues, and I for one realize that gridlock really could happen, and if it did, one of the possible end game fiascoes is that the chain of transactions that allow you to use a credit card might break down.

That sounds like a pain in the ass, but it might mean truckers won't be able to make delivery of food to cities. So it could be rather ugly. Perhaps this is why active troops are scheduled to be deployed in the US next week.
