The Republican house members (real fiscal conservatives, it would seem) are absolutely unwilling to just sign a blank check to Paulson's program. The President keeps wringing his hands and the democrats are sitting back.....

Good for those reluctant house members.

Ah, when being a fiscal conservative used to mean not spending without the money to pay for it...and not just screwing the taxpayer.
