President Harry Truman and President Roosevelt of WWII were effective-------they weren't pansies.


We have no democrats to compare with them, since Lieberman went independent.

People forget the temperments of Truman and FDR. Teddy Roosevelt sure wasn't meek but he certainly was a great President. IMO if you can't get angry about important things then maybe there's a lack of heart, if you know what I mean...
