Watching a CNN stream.......in the last half hour, House Republicans finally picked someone to lead them in the negatiations. Its taken them all day to make that happen. And they don't have just one negotiator.......they have 4. There must be factions within the bigger faction. Ugh!

JF, > You were listening to Rush today, weren't you...

I already saw the news reports, including the one where Republicans said that there was no deal in the first place.

Plus I was suspicious when Democrats were quick to blame the Republicans. I figured that was just the typical whining from Harry Reid, but I didn't know until this morning (before Rush, BTW) that the Dems all claimed that McCain "trashed" the deal.

Sounded like all too convenient of a story. Which got me thinking, "Why rush the bailout anyway? What's in it for the Dems?"
