Once MS completes the deal with the Japanese (i orginally thought chinese( they will swoop in and do a semi-Wamu deal. I dont think wachovia is as scrwed as WM because they have more going for it...

The problem is people are either taking their money out of the banks completely or taking it out of savings and putting it into T bills. That's what brought WaMu down......it lost $16.7 billion in deposits over the last two weeks. I am afraid that's what's happening to NCC and WB.

Do you remember during the S & L mess in the early 90s if people started withdrawing their money in droves?
