you'll never hear a politician give any part of the blame to Main St. in an election year

They're all busy hoping their own over-priced RE stays above water. DC was one of the worst bubble areas. Whenever I'd hear about some outrageous high watermark sales price in Baltimore it was almost always a DC buyer.
