Pro, you are so out of touch with reality.

For years I have posted here about the dangers of fiscal irresponsibiity and the fact that you can't just cut taxes and increases spending on the national credit card without there being horrible results. Those are ACTUAL conservative principles. Not George Bush principles, I agree, but he has never been a conservative (as noted by many other than myself).

Now you and Shorty post that somehow back in 2005 when the republicans still had control of the house, the senate and the White House the democrats did something to block regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Come on....who was in charge then? Who had veto power? Who brought bills to the floor for votes?

If you really think that damage to this Country will be done by people who try to argue for fiscal responsiblity...well, have at it. The actual damage done by the borrow and spend policies of your hero, Mr. Bush, are far too evident.

Or are you in the camp that thinks there is nothing he could have done in these past eight years to avoid any of this? That his personal request for 700 billion dollars of our money with no oversight is just business as usual...

Yes, you probably are in that group.

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.
