I remember the Gore/Bush debate where Gore was very dismissive of Bush. I thought that Gore won on the issues, but it turned out that most people don't look at the specific issues in a debate, but the demeanor. As such, it was obvious that Obama came off more presidential, more cooperative, more bipartisan. McCain came off as that angry neighbor who is always shaking his fist at teenagers...I can hear him "Get the hell off my lawn!"
