RE will be scorned as an investment for awhile.
This is not your normal downturn. I expect the disdain to be greater and more prolonged than usual. CRE hasn't plunged to get any bounce. Still near multi-year highs. This is all connected to the bubble but the fragile link hasn't really been discovered.
The charts of most CRE show the ascent beginning in 2000, just as the Naz was imploding. Prior to that, many traded in teens and single digits.
