5) The "two bracelets" moment showed Obama at his "I have to be the smartest guy in the room" worst.

I really laughed at this part, very foolish. "Hey! I've got a bracelet too!"

3) Obama often refers to himself as "we." What's up with that?

That's an easy one. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

1) Several times during the debate, Obama would smirk and laugh while McCain spoke.

Really? I was listening on the radio, so I missed all of that. Was it really noticeable? What I did notice was Obama calling McCain "John," while McCain called him "Senator". That just seemed insecure to me, trying to prove you're in the club when you just arrived.

I certainly agree with Barnett's assessment of the debate.

I would add that McCain was successful in putting Obama on the defensive. McCain clearly got under his skin....lol. You could see it in BO's body language and facial expressions.

I would also add that BO failed miserably in his attempt to link McCain with Bush. That tired strategy didn't take, probably because BO doesn't really know how to make it stick.

Of course, all the "in the tank" pundits for BO are saying he won, but I don't believe that Team Obama actually believes that.

Why do I say that? Because this morning, at the Obama rally in Greensboro, Obama was back to having someone faint so that he could summon the EMTs and tell the crowd to give the fainter room, etc.

Obviously they're back to Savior mode.

But it's the race they're trying to save this time. :-)
