Absolutely not. You missed my point entirely. I was responding to the post that says the entire housing market problem was caused solely by the democrats and the CRA.

My point is that greed fueled the unrealistic climb of housing prices across the board, not just in CRA neighborhoods or those getting CRA loans.

And the ability to afford these overinflated houses was fueled by exotic loans pushed by banks, whose unfettered GREED made them look the other way when granting loans who should not have gotten them.

Subprime started the ball rolling, but it's picking up speed and catching plenty of prime borrowers who overextended themselves due their own GREED and access to easy money.
