This guy wanted Alaska to secede. === what's wrong with secession? the founding fathers considered it an essential part of the original Union. Lincoln nearly physically destroyed this country in his effort to rid the US of secession. In essence he achieved his goal of destroying the republic since we have only gone down hill since his presidency.

Maybe the "first dude" wanted Alaska to secede so that Sarah Palin could get the foreign relations experience she so desperately needs.

That would have been the best thing for Alaskans. Proper compensation to the Feds and they would rid themselves of the anchor they've got around their necks.
