That was very good metacomet. Thanks. but as a society we do have to try and manage our society. We are a democracy after all.

I would maintain the problems we are facing have been caused because for the last 30 years, we, the people, have not elected good leaders. We have not elected the "best and the brightest.

Bush seems short on knowledge and compassion and incapable of abstract and logical reasoning. And he has surrounded himself with people like himself. So these are the consequences of his pedestrian thinking.

If we had been voting in truely smart and decent politicians for the last 30 years (like John and Bobby Kennedy) I believe we would be in a much different position than we are today.

PS I am going to watch that entire series. Very good.
