That's it exactly, if you go out there and work for your paycheck, this is all weatherable. Personally, my business has been growing for the past 1.5 years.

The fact, that we have had a bunch of failures in the financial industry and the market hasn't completely melted down is a pretty good sign that this current crisis is manageable. I'm of the opinion that the market needs air let out of it every now and again....and bad businesses need to fail. Gotta make room for the next generation...creative destruction. I believe in that crap.

I'm not too excited about our political options this election, but even if Obama gets elected (and I see him as pretty much a socialist), I am not too worried about being able to keep food on the table.

Maybe I am too optimistic, but I just don't see our economy going to zero. That doesn't mean that I am willing to put my gambling money in the market right now, but I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of a pullback as a nice entry point for some long positions.

I should probably look at a chart one of these days and see where the market really stands....
