I suspect those who are obsessing the most about Palin are those who are essentially opposed to the McCain ticket. And by focusing on Palin, they essentially ignore McCain. And give us an opportunity to point out Palin actually compares well to either Obama or Biden.

It's interesting to see otherwise thoughtful people unable to answer a couple of basic question regarding Palin. Namely, whether they've seen her during the Alaska Governor's debates and why they believe her answers to the Katie Curic interview were accurately portrayed, when we know the one she gave Gibson was grossly manipulated to portray a less thoughtful and less informed person? I would think thoughtful people would be able to at least address those questions, especially when considering how much time and energy they've taken to condemn and criticize her.
