Perhaps, but he would have made mincemeat out of them, overwhelmed them with his competence. No question would be unanswered.

You think that Jindal could have been thrust suddenly from state to national affairs, and been asked a bunch of 'gotcha' questions about the Bush doctrine and the bailout bill and details of McCain's voting records, and still "overwhelmed them with his competence"? You think Jindal knows as much about Washingotn as he does about LA? That's a vote of confidence indeed.

If an interviewer is looking to do gotcha's, he will find them. It's up to the candidate to get back into the interviewer's face. Has Jindal really suffered such treatment in LA? He has a track record of competence there and is respected.
