Well, the complete collapse of the so-called "conservative" administration of George W. Bush is on full display this afternoon in the 109 page bill that will burden us, our children and our grandchildren with hundreds of billions of dollars of debt... So much for small government. So much for fiscal responsibility. George Bush and the borrow and spend republicans are a bunch of fools. Only the house republicans, too little, too late and too unfocused tried to act like conservatives. The admissions of lack of oversight, lack of management and lack of belief that "debt was the enemy" are now apparent to all. And I don't see how McCain recovers....he can't run against Bush hard enough now. Lord knows, he is trying...but with Palin hung around his neck and the Administration's idiocy around OUR necks... I know Pro and Shorty still think GWB is a great president and that being a conservative just means cutting taxes...well, now we all get the results for the next twenty years of such thinking. thanks a lot.
