Reagan was the spearhead of deregulation. I don't think he was a democrat. This is a known fact. Phil Gramm (McCain's "Nation of Winers" boy) is nicknamed "The father of deregulation." I don't think he's a democrat either.

Now read this article to refresh your memories of the hard-core proponents of Deregulation and keep in mind AGAIN that the R E P U B L I C A N S had total control of Washington from 2000-2006. Total control. Did deregulation change then? Uh, that would be a no. Read on....
