>>One trillion seconds ago – 31,688 years – Neanderthals stalked the plains of Europe.

And today they are stalking the halls of DC... <g!>

"The deal carries a statutory provision allowing $700 bn increase in the Treasury’s debt ceiling to $11.315 trillion"

fifty, or 500 years too late, it already happy growth happened.

As Wal-Mart says, not even really cheap labor is cheap and free enough these days.

We will enjoy, the race of the silly two future tax-cutting, interest-paying-pimping parties, taking the two-party turns every fourth or eight year.

Note, if they do not take their regular turns US will turn into a one-party system??

Kind of United socialist-communistic, where the United Socialists of American continues too handle all private debts..

Sad thing that AmTrak never got all the subsidies that the airlines got, traditionlly bailed out four times every fourth year, and now it is even funnier.

PS As an Old railway-funny, I always had fun with Amtrak, complaining that they do not get the same communistic monies.

PPS dealing arms is not even not like before, especially as Mexico is not yet going for a nuclear bomb.
Instead, they are struggling to not have a one nor a two party system.
