When you come right down to it, what basically makes [Palin] unqualified in the eyes of some is she is a woman. If any man had been placed in the V.P. spot with similar qualifications, they wouldn't be saying boo about it.

This was a good argument before the Couric interview, but not now.

The issue is not Palin’s on-paper qualifications to be President, which are objectively better than Obama’s. Rather, the issue is that she can’t seem to give coherent answers to relatively simple questions.

If her problem is mainly stagefright, there are FDA-approved drugs that can help. But what if she really has no idea what she is talking about? That’s the big worry.

You're right. Mike Huckabee has similar qualifications; you wouldn't be seeing this screeching if he had been picked.

You hit it right on the head. And not only that, she's a conservative woman which, in the eyes of some, makes her a moron.

Where were all these tut tutting lefties when John Edwards was Kerry's VP candidate? Who questioned pretty boy Edwards about his foreign policy experience? Geez! There were people voting to nominate Edwards during the past year and he's been basically out of office building too large mansions, screwing around and making babies as opposed to building up any creds for high political office.

For that matter, what did little ole Billy Clinton know about foreign policy when he was elected? Gee, did studying in Oxford count?

I am so angry at the treatment of women this political season.
As I've said before, the fathers of the Dem party decided they could cram a socialist, radical left agenda down the throats of Americans by packaging it in a mild appearing Black MAN, because a failure to vote for him could be characterized as racist.

They also know their target voters are utterly stupid and that they can count on the compliant media to carry their water and hide Obama's considerable warts.
