Well the other day when Checkfree was nearly 30....I had about 25% of my portfolio in both.....It favors Intuit at the moment....Brown set the target at 45-50.
I Guess I'll just have to wait it out.....and see which one wins.

Thoughts about Intuit / Checkfree....IMO

To me Intuit's Software it the Physical Harware(bad term), but let me explain...

I've been a user of Quicken since 93...all my personal records are in there...checkbook...investment...house..personal property. Every week I and 10 Million others like me record all our transactions manually in the Quicken Software......That's about to change!

In Quicken 98...I'll be able to have my bills sent directly into my Quicken Program....I can then pay them with the click of an OK button. (Checkfree most likely will process the backend)....and my Quicken Program will update my account balances and record the transaction....I don't have to enter it manually...all the book work is done automatically.

Brokerage will go the same way.....and Banking....starting to sound like the ole Checkfree 5 B's.

Quicken will provide the front end user interface with the backend most likely being handled by Checkfree.

As I see it.....Quicken is my IN HOME PERSONAL SMART ATM, and Checkfree just piles up those $0.20 tranactions....everytime I pay my Electric, Phone, Gas, Buy or Sell a Stock, or pay any other type of re-occurring transaction.

I'm BULLISH ON BOTH....L/T!
