You notice that silver has been, so far, shirking off its purely industrial metal slot? Really it is NOT a commodity because it is extremely rare even in comparison to gold. If what you say, and I agree too, is that the world system is unraveling then remember that silver is the poor mans gold and just as many of us can afford gold, people in poorer countires such as Mexico will hoard ever ounce of silver they can get their hands on, endangering Mexican silver mine workers and their bosses in the process.
