That was inserted over the weekend in a particularly egregious form, with 20% of the gain from any profitable transaction going toward "the cause", regardless of the total amount outstanding. It was removed.

Just another indication that I'm being conned. Paulson should resign. There are other good plans out there, I've read a couple of them. When someone goes on TV and explains why these other options are not being considered, siting chapter and verse, I will be more inclined to think them credible.

And yes, I know everybody will be hurt. Me too. That's in the works one way or the other. Too many "we must pass this plan and HOPE it will do the job" comments. Let the bad banks fail. That WILL do the job and we can begin to pick up the pieces and move on.
