Steve Forbes is saying on Michael Medved’s show the system is seizing up, cash is becoming not available…. Lots of reasons for problem today: Federal Reserve started printing too much money several years ago, inflation, housing money excesses, our government supporting Jimmy Carter’s policy of weak dollar, instead of Ronald Reagan’s policy of strong dollar, No regulation on naked shorting, the Fannie and Freddie sub prime disaster, Congress resisted every chance for reform, Misusing Government Credit. We should look at record of McCain and Obama to see why McCain should win… McCain has warned of a problem for several years. Has come out for tax cut, and wants to reform tax code…. Situation is darker than ever before….Two weeks ago were we were at near stop still. Banks are not lending money to each other. Americans are at risk. What can we do? Don’t panic now….Constructively, brace yourself, but this bill is the only one we have…Call our Congress….Tell them the bill is being portrayed as bailing out the banking industry, but instead it is really a life line to the American people for credit....We will all be hurt if this isn’t implemented in days. Not a bailout for the banking institutions. Pelosi this morning exhibited bipartisan sabotage by slashing GWB and the Republicans. GWB hasn’t gone on TV to the American people with charts to explain what the problem really is, and what we have to do….The People don’t understand the magnitude of what’s before us.
