Not true on several counts. For one, the only ones who would be affected were single tax payers with that income. Not your blanket "persons making" which includes families. In addition, that bill, even if it had passed, wouldn't have had that affect. That was a vote on a budget bill. It only sets targets, the actual amounts are set by appropriations and taxation committees.

Regardless, that was only the one bill. If that is your idea of a history of raising taxes, well...
