It's a fair bet that if the principals in the Project to Eff Up A New American Century did not rule the last 8 years, the US would have total debt in the 4.5 to 5.5 trillion dollar range. We had the exact same trend pre-Shrub.

And, yes, I plan to buy some $CAN, soon methinks.
