Mac needs to speak up in a clear message McCain, along with the vast majority of his congressional colleagues, is an economic illiterate. He's fumbling along like the rest of them on this issue. It's too late to cry over spilt milk, but the GOP has really bungled an opportunity here. The GOP, IMO, should have stood toe to toe with the President and given solid backing to this unfortunately necessary piece of legislation and, at the same time, explained to the American public in a clear and concise manner, exactly how the Democrats were responsible for getting us into this situation in the first place and what is needed to ensure that it won't happen again..
