$45 is still cheaper than all wireless data plans on an all you can eat basis. And it is right on par with the wired BB connections. but you cannot take that on the raod with you and get BB speeds anywhere.


I am partially just pissed at myself for not realizing that the press release was misleading. There were definitely hints that the pricing was temporary ("at launch").

In any case, the pricing is good, but definitely not a revolution. If it grabs significant share in any of its markets, it wont be hard for either the wired or wireless competitors to drop their pricing to be more competitive while offering either higher speeds (wired) or vastly better coverage (wireless).

BTW, the cheapest wireless broadband is Leap. They offer DO for $40 a month.
