As does McCain, Obama has trouble with right wing whackos. Did McCain's making nice with Falwell mean he agreed with Falwell? Of course not - and the same goes for Obama. Since McCain denounced him in 2000, Falwell has said that Jews can't go to heaven unless they accept Christ, that the Prophet Mohammed was a terrorist and that gays and feminists bore responsibility for 9/11. Falwell and McCain first made peace in a face-to-face meeting a few months ago.
