<What I don't get is the public singling her out for her misdeeds
while worshiping Elizabeth Dole.>

Hilary has been vaporized. She is the only first lady who has been unable to back a project without substantial criticism. Forget about the health care fiasco. No matter what Hilary tries to do she will be criticized.

I've noticed that nowadays she travels more frequently on diplomatic trips outside of US. When she is outside of the country, the Press & the Republicans don't criticize her so much.

As far as I can tell Hilary is the only first lady without a serious project. What is so sad is that she is one of the few who could make a difference. She is a smart and talented woman.

I heard about the health care crises as well!

Del, what makes you think I worship Elizabeth Dole?? I can't stand her!!! Also, Hillary was attempting to profit from the felonies she committed, hoping the Clintons would make money on Whitewater. And that $100,000 she made in commodities was a payoff, incidentally, from the Tyson chicken company as I recall. Why do you think chicken production is not regulated more closely, anyway??

In a perfect world, where there were no barriers imposed on any group, affirmative action would be unnecessary. Do you believe that in reality there ARE no barriers imposed on any group in America??

Of course, your son and his internet girlfriend should do what they choose to do. You asked my opinion, though, and I am still quite convinced that this girl's strict parents and her own negative self-image are at the core of all her problems. Most young adults, even very poor ones, manage to get through college and still have social lives. I wish them both good luck!!!
