Probably on the anticipation that they'll try to run the $700B band aid through again (with minor changes). Other than that it's the usual ups and downs and profit taking etc..

Not strange at all Quarter end rebalancing and buck repatriation Gold just in a 1 week consolidation of large gain off the mid month low. Last time Euro was at this level gold was over $100 lower Stocks look good to go Buck is going to dive Nice monthly hammer on $XAU (would be very rare to not see follow through) Last time we had one like this was before the biggest run of the bull and this one looks more powerful Stoch at low with years to run stockcharts.com PM investors have to be right and sit tight. A couple of years ago FRE/FNM didn't make any sense but it took some time. Just buy the good stuff and stay off margin.
