I know of a few with lots of holes.

One offshore wants a dollar a ton. Ten dollar ore. Shallow beach placer 10 to 30 feet deep, so sea waves a problem. Not a show stopper though. 4,000 holes. 70 million in ore. About 1.5 million to get going. Need a crawler dredge hose system and el platform/marine railway pullout.

There is one of 60 million yards in Yukon. Probably 6 dollar ore. Could be started with a backhoe, and floating deck recovery unit. Operate by travelling pond system, so one unit to move earth, instead of several. Cost to operate about 1.5 a ton. Royalty has to be negotiated. If you can get 15% then it might work, but usually these things break down, as the owner wants to make all the money. Sure money at 50 cents a yard is a sinecure. Costs to operate are generally about one third.

There are lost of SA and CA placers that run about 1/2 gram. Trouble is security. Probably Suriname is OK. I know one there that could pay. Combo small scale hard rock OP and placer.

Some stuff in Mexico would work too. I know of some on the goldcoast but I fear security problems. Oudabush Yakuza would harass.
