YES! That's it exactly. Everyone's focused on variants of Paulson's plan, and they're not even LOOKING at alternatives, including Chile, Sweden, etc. Sweden even offered to advise, months ago. The idea wasn't just to turn down Paulson's plan - it was to get a BETTER plan. That's the pissoff - nobody's even looking at alternatives. The Establishment is saying Paulson's Plan. That's it. "My way or the highway". They're in their own Washington-Wall Street world. The politicos haven't even presented a list of alternatives. Haven't even worked on a Short List of different ways to go. Do they even KNOW that others have been here before? They're focused on Paulson, and they've got it all wrong. Voters have said Paulson's Plan is a non-starter. Until alternatives are being presented and evaluated, we're going nowhere. JMO Jim
