The problem with a bipartisan bill is that usually the fringes are unhappy. That's a consequence of meeting in the middle. I guess you're arguing that the Demos should have assumed all the burden of cleaning up the Republicans mess, and passed a bill that appealed to those other 94 Democrats. I assure you that such a bill would not be to your liking.

Passing the buck. I guess the GOP is the new Anti Truman party.
