Yeah Smithee linked me that one also. Again way to much speed for 10:30 at night. Probably some alcohol involved also. Damn shame. I won't go out at night anymore in my pontoon for just these reasons. While I'm putting along at 3 knots enjoying a beer and the moonlight on the water I've had several instances with speed boats at high speed. Just won't go out anymore after dark. Quiz. At night you see a vessel ahead in the dark and all you see is a white light to your starboard and a pulsing yellow light to port of that. What are we looking at? A surfaced submarine running across in front of us heading to our port.
