I agree with your point. They have solid balance sheet and sound
products. The only question is whether the management will turn
the comapny around or not. From the current stock movement without
any news , I assume something we don't know will happen soon.

regards

Jay,
I think that dropping the token ring line was one of the best things that Proteon could have done. I do not care how good the system might be, the majority of the people seem to want an ether net prodoct. It seems that most of the people who are running the company were here when I first purchased the stock over two years ago.

All they need to do now is to start earning some money. When they are losing money, the company could be worth $2 or $10. In both cases, the P/E is 0. It will only be a few more days and we will see if this is the quarter where they make a turn around.

What I would really like to see happen, is for Proteon to start taking over other companies. I would rather see this than for the company to disapper into a larger company.

Jay,
With another quarter of reporting a loss, the company will be lucky if they can find someone interesting in even buying them. Right now, the only thing that the company has going for it is the amount of cash that they have on-hand. Maybe the best thing that could happen is for someone to buy the company and sell all of the assets and just call it quits.
