Almost every voter understands a response is needed, quickly: a good plan will get the votes === I reject the supposition that a bailout is needed. I seriously doubt one congress person can stand at a podium and elucidate to the public why a bailout is needed and what will be the consequences of no bailout. What IS needed is to rid the system of excess debt and risk coupled with a return to the belief that one must actually work to support oneself within one's means.
